There are many beautiful places on Zanzibar, so picking one for Minara was not an easy task. In the end we picked this small authentic village Matemwe, because of it’s tranquility and easy access to Mnemba – a beautiful Atol island which is perfect for diving and makes for an even more interesting scenery – and access to both regular sandy beach and also beach with overhanging coral reef cliffs, specific for Zanzibar.
